Fairly Recently Read:
* The City and the City (4), China Miéville, on![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
louderandlouder's recommendation. Murder in a city that comprises two overlapping but separate countries.
* Loveless, vol. 8 (4), Yun Kouga: Finally Ritsuka and Seimei meet! Good angst.
* The Child Thief (2.5), Brom: Gritty retelling of Peter Pan is a great concept muffed in the execution (but with pretty pictures).
* The Innkeeper's Song (4.5), Peter S. Beagle: Two former students of an old wizard come together to help him in his time of need.
* "Lal and Soukyan," from Giant Bones (4.5), Peter S. Beagle: The last adventure (or so we're told) of Lal and Soukyan from The Innkeeper's Song. Great characterization.
* Mirage of Blaze 17.20-22 (ratings: 2, 5, and 3.5 respectively): Chiaki researches, Takaya angsts, and Yuzuru and Irobe hang with the Catholics.
