Glad you enjoyed it! On another topic, I will not, alas, be down in California this spring. It just seemed most prudent given all the flooding. But I will be there in July. Sorry to miss the springtime.

Well, that's a bummer! I must have felt your visit was going to be soon, as I've had a hankering for the Girl and the Fig!

Sonoma, at least these parts, has mostly missed out on the flooding. But there's no sense traveling during inclement weather when you don't have to.

I'm really missing being there. I hope in the next few years to get an ADU built on our property, which would make it cheaper and easier to visit. Also teaching online and/or working less (which I'm transitioning to for health reasons) might free up time to visit more in the spring. Those hopes are sustaining me!

Sonoma County is working on making ADUs easier to permit and build, that's for sure.

Sorry you need to transition your situation due to health issues, hopefully they are not too major.
