Interesting thought. I think it's very likely there's some Stockholm Syndrome, especially later on when Riki has really accepted that he's stuck with Iason and that's his world now. I always figured a large part of the attraction on Riki's side was pure sex appeal, since Iason can turn him on even against his will. But that only takes us so far, and, yes, think being stuck with Iason would, over time, make him relate to Iason more. In the last parts, I think there is a little more genuine sympathy between them, but bar the final scene, I don't think it's ever all that much.
