Yay for platonic relationships! I admit I guard Frodo and Sam a bit jealously because they are one of the very best examples. So, too, Harry and Brandon in Gungrave.

(I'm also among those who have never really seen Blake/Avon. I have no truck with people who do; they've kept the fandom alive for decades. I just never really saw it.)
