Cats against literacy? Hm, well, my cat certainly seems against my grading papers to judge by his propensity to sit on them.

Exactly! I think there may have been mention of artifacts such as manuscripts with pawprints on them.

I enjoyed that. I've often thought of cats as little aliens who perceive everything differently but that we're lucky enough to communicate with.

Thanks! As I write this, my cat is perched on a shelf right above me, looking like he's contemplating leaping at my face. I'd better propitiate the god indeed!
