I've been reading Julie Sondra Decker's The Invisible Orientation (about asexuality), and it highlighted for me how difficult "romance" is to define. She doesn't really try, which is probably for the best. I'm probably at heart a quasi-romantic or sometimes romantic or used-to-be-more romantic. :-)
